Travel Schedule
Week 1 – grand canyon camping (june 20 – june 24)
Hiking down the skinny paths bordered by big rocks, we’ll set up our tents and then eat some s’mores in our warm socks. With flashlights in hand, finding bugs on the ground we’ll be camping “under the stars” to the great outdoor sound.
Week 2 – now that’s Italian! (june 27 – july 1)
Our next stop on our world adventure takes us to the place that looks like a boot. From pizza to pasta we will be sure to have a hoot. No Italian visit would be complete without a vineyard trip, squashing grapes the “old fashioned way”, as we skip.
Week 3 – Mexican fiesta (july 5 – july 9)
We are heading south of the border on our next stop. Dressed in ponchos with sombreros on our heads will top. Making a piñata from the beginning to the end, then hitting it and watching the candy & treats descend.
Week 4 – england’s fantasy & fairytales (july 11 – july 15)
Repunzel, Repunzel if you dare. We want to play tug-of-war with your hair. We’ll make sugar cube castles and crowns sparking so bright. There will be princesses a plenty along with brave knights.
Week 5 – African jungle safari (july 18 to july 22)
Get your binoculars ready to find animals big and small. The jungle is filled iwht so many, it will be hard to find them all. From elephants trumpeting, to monkeys swinging in a tree, a visit to a tribal village we will see. Beating drums and baskets made from straw, this is the week that will leave you in awe.
Week 6 – Hawaiian beach party (july 25 – july 29)
Next we travel to the islands numbered five for a luau party where we will jump and jive. Hula skirts and leis made out of flowers, together we will build beautiful sand towers. This is the week for soaking in the sun, splashing in water, and just having fun.
Week 7 – outta this world (august 1 – august 5)
No trip around the world would be complete without a trip into outer space. We’ll blast off in a rocket so make sure you reserve your place. Alien adventures await us in undiscovered land, and we will make sure to play with the moon sand.
Week 8 – wild west showdown (august 8 – august 12)
Hopping on our horses we’ll head to the Wild West. We need a new sheriff in town, are you up for the test? Horse races and a quick draw are a few things to show off your skills. Make sure you join us in the Wild West and be ready for some thrills.
Week 9 – greece’s other Olympics (august 15 – august 19)
We travel by plane to the Olympics birth place. But it’s not for the Olympics that we will face. At least the not the Olympics that we all know, these are the wild wacky Olympics from long ago. We’ll spend the week doing all kinds of crazy stuff, like running with balloons in between our knees to painting with marshmallow fluff. You won’t know what other kinds of things are in store for you unless you book this week on your list of “must” things to do.
Week 10 – dizzy’s big top circus (august 22 – august 26)
It’s time to return to Dizzy’s to create our own circus town. We’ll end our summer acting like a clown. Men with muscles so strong, trapeze acrobats swinging, and hopefully nothing goes wrong. Lions and tigers jumping through fire, we need you to show up because we have some circus friends to hire.
Our space is limited, so be sure to register early.
